FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
■ How much time will I spend doing the activities?
At the beginning of each activity, right after the objectives are set you'll find the average online time and the average offline time. The former refers to the average time you will spend reading the activities, writing your comments, finding additional information; the latter refers to the average time you will spend thinking about what you know and how you will present the information and revising your notes.
■ Are the activities assessed?
Each one of the activities will be assessed following whether a rubric or a checklist. You are advised to carefully read each one of the criteria before submitting your comment.
Ask your peers
Use the following shoutbox to ask questions and get answers from your peers. Take advantage of this space, we all learned best from our peers.
■ Be attentive: focus on what the instructions for each activity are. Avoid entering to other webpages (facebook, twitter, or messenger) when you are doing your school homework.
■ Meet the challenge: don't give up and stop doing the activities here proposed if you don't understand or you are experiencing technical problems. Work harder and try out a different strategy.
■ Be an active learner: identify what you want to learn from each activity, ask questions, visit other links to get more information, revise that your comment really meets your own standards.
■ Review your notes: before you begin any activity, think about what you already know about the topic and look up at your notebooks/books to get prepared.
■ Set up a schedule: organize how much time you will spend doing all your school homework and at what time you will start. Tell your friends not to interrupt you.
